Liveaboard Boat Diving at

Similan Islands and Koh Bon.

Dive flexibility is the key to the success of this Similan island liveaboard dive boat.

Like her sister liveaboard Somboon 4, Somboon 3 stays at the Similan islands for the whole diving season and divers are transferred to and from Phuket and Khao Lak by air conditioned mini bus to Tab Lamu Pier (Phang Nga Province,) then by speedboat to the Similan Islands or Koh Bon to board Somboon 3.

Not strictly a liveaboard dive boat, Somboon 3 is more of a moving dive platform, with divers joining and leaving the boat every day, some stay for a day and two dives then return by speedboat to Tab Lamu pier and others stay for one or more nights.
This can make diving from her a little busy at dive times during the day with more than 28 divers onboard, but at night Somboon 3 is as peaceful as any other liveaboard in the Similan islands.
The flexibility of Somboon 3 liveaboard allows divers to stay as long as they want. If you would like to stay longer onboard, just tell the Dive Tour Leader and if there is a cabin free that's it. The current fee is 4000 Baht per extra night onboard.

Please note: Somboon 3 visits Koh Bon every Wednesday and Sunday for 2 dives and transfers will be to and from there not the Similans Islands.
