PADI Advanced Diver Course Outline

The PADI advanced Scuba diver course takes two days and involves five open water dives (+ one free.) Two compulsory core dives; deep and navigation diver, then three chosen adventure dives from the list below:

After reading the five relevant short chapters from the PADI advanced diver manual, you must complete the five Knowledge reviews to be checked by your PADI Diving instructor.

There are no exams on the advanced diver course, so the dive course is less informal than the PADI open water diver course.

When you have completed your three elective dives and two core dives you will receive your PADI advanced open water certification, which allows you to dive to a depth 30 metres with a suitably qualified dive buddy.

Each of the first five dives on the itineraries below will be with your PADI scuba diving instructor, and will include advanced course requirements from one of your chosen dives or one of the two core dives. Your sixth dive will be for fun diving only.
