Limestone rock 60 minutes away from Phuket.

Doesn’t look like it could be a dive site from the surface due to its straight up and down craggy wall appearance. But underwater it is a deceptively good wall dive, with caverns, that if you are prepared to look at a little closer into, contain beautiful seahorses. That’s what you must do at Koh Doc Mai, look closely, for ghost pipe fish, Durban dancer & banded cleaner shrimp, nudibranchs and different types of moray eels. Also keep a lookout for sea snakes, passing game barracuda and turtles. Lots of sea fans and hard and soft coral on the wall and the big variety of fish to see make this dive a totally unexpected treat. Well worth a visit.

Koh Doc Mai one of Phuket’s best scuba diving sites with all the small creatures that are normally hard to find available in abundance.
