General Info

Similans Islands Liveaboard Dive Sites - Richelieu Rock.
Limestone horseshoe shaped jagged pinnacle covered with anemones, sea fans, barrel sponges and soft corals, with several smaller rocks in attendance.
The rock at low tide can just be seen breaking the surface and offers a biodiversity second to none and as such is worth several dives.
Getting down along the static buoy line can be a little tough in the sometimes heavy swell, but in such a remote site its acceptable and welcome.
Frog fish, chevron barracuda, seahorses, mantis shrimps, malabar grouper, yellow box fish, white eyed moray eel, nurse sharks, anemone fish and all the more common reef fish are here to be seen.
