The main cave is noted for its stalactites and small crevasses and has been said to resemble Swiss cheese.
Other dive sites of the islands are suited to most diver levels and offer great diving and some unusual sights and creatures from ornate ghost pipe fish to larger pelagics, the occasional passing big shark. Turtles are regular visitors here and octopus are a common sight.
Depth: 10/35m. Visibility: 15/30m. Currents: Mostly easy. Level 2/3: Experienced and advanced divers.

South Thailand Liveaboard Dive Sites - Koh Ha Yai.

Koh Ha Yai is one of a five island set and is a labyrinth of small caves and caverns best suited to the more experienced diver to Thailand, though entrance to the main cave is at nine metres, is easily accessible and has access to the surface at all times, so it's possible for all levels of diver to enjoy the stunning scenery.

The best time to see the green light fill cavern at its enchanting best is in the morning light, so set your alarm clock.

The caves are home to lots of small marine life including lobster (not for dinner,) hermit crabs, a variety of shrimps and other dark loving sea life.
