General Info

South Thailand Liveaboard Dive Sites - The Hins.
Hin Daeng (Red rock) get it’s name from to the masses of red corals that cover this series of walls and shelves.
These corals offer the array local of small colourful reef fish protection against the marauding pelagics, like tuna and barracuda, which are here in big numbers to feed on the smaller fish.
Other sighting here include a variety of moray eels, lobster, turtles, crabs, pipe fish and there is always the chance to spot the elusive manta rays & whale shark. Hin Daeng is also noted for being one of the last chances to see the grey reef shark in Thai waters.
