Similans Islands Liveaboard Dive Sites - Koh Bon.
Koh Bon
The south side of the island has a 33 metre wall, a small cove and a stepped ridge that points in a westerly direction and drops down to over 40m. The ridge its self is the best place to spot manta rays and sighting are thankfully quite common, due to the deep plankton rich waters. Just do like many others and drift over the deep water and look into the blue.
If you're unlucky you can console yourself with sightings of leopard and white tip sharks, red octopus, various types of moray eels, banded boxer shrimps, dam selfish, turtle and triton trigger fish that eat huge amounts of corals are all yours to savour, along with many hard corals.
Koh Bon is one of the best dive sites in Thailand's Similans Marine Park to dive with Manta Rays.
