Phuket Day Boat Diving Site Reviews - Anemone Reef.

Lots of other fish to see including; tuna, big barracuda, lion fish, scorpion fish and groupers.
All in all a good dive for every grade of diver. Currents can run a little hard but this should be no problem as there are plenty of things to see in more sheltered spots.
Depths: 2/30m. Visibility: 10/20m. Current: Easy to strong. Level 1: Good for all.

This limestone pinnacle dive site is only 1.5 kilometres away from Shark Point, but in major contrast to its neighbour.

Sitting at a depth of 30 metres the rock rises quite sharply to 4 metres below the surface making it a very real shipping hazard (see King Cruiser wreck.)

The curious sight of the whole pinnacle carpeted in Anemones, is so very different to any other dive site in the area, that it has become a must dive for lots of people on hearing about it, and a Mecca for ‘Nemo’ lovers from all over the world, who snap away with their under water cameras looking for the perfect photo to hang on their child's wall back at home.

Anemone Reef dive site is world famous for the unusual amount of Sea Anemones surrounding this small limestone pinnacle.
