Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai
Possibly the two best dives site in the Phi Phi Islands National Park.
At Koh Bida Nok one side of the island offers shallow hard coral reef suitable for all divers and on the other side, the more experienced diver will find a wall with soft coral down to 30 metres. Features lots of marine life like leopard sharks, turtles, moray eels, lion fish and pipe fish. There is always a chance for manta rays and whales sharks and this is a dive not to be missed.
A few hundred metres away from Koh Bida Nok sits sister island Koh Bida Nai. Schooling fish, bigger pelagic fish and reef sharks are common on this dive site.
Both sites offer fantastic diving and unusual rock formations above the surface. Highly recommended.
Depths: 5/30m. Visibility: 10/25m. Currents: Easy to Strong. Level 1: Good for all.

Latterly Phi-Phi has become a backpackers paradise, billed as one of the most beautiful islands in the world.

The hoards of tourist lured there by 90 minutes of Hollywood magic, seem content to drink themselves into the next bar then leave for the next once beautiful paradise, spoilt by some quirk of cinematic fate.

Fortunately for the diver most seem to be oblivious of the beauty that lies beneath the blue waters that surround them.

Many dive sites of Phi-Phi are only catered for by the dive shops on the main island (Phi-Phi Don) and the sites we feature here are the ones that can be reached from Phuket, happily they are the pick of the crop.
